Déployant une démarche chorégraphique à la fois organique et intuitive, ses œuvres forment un répertoire caractérisé par l’émotion brute et par l’humanité des sujets abordés.
Since the founding of her eponymous company in 2009, Virginie Brunelle has created six choreographic works that have been presented in more than fifty cities in twelve different countries. Deploying a choreographic approach that is both organic and intuitive, her works form a repertoire characterized by the raw emotion and by the humanity of the subjects tackled.

PRAYER
A short experimental film tells a prayer that is addressed to heaven. Airplanes are an association of prayers that travel to heaven. All the seeing eye of God looks at us from heaven. Our souls want into the spiritual world but are still attached to the material, the earth. At the end of the film, an association of souls appears in the form of white and red lights traveling in different directions. A whispering prayer is heard in the background of the film....
EXPIRATION
In the midst of the Covid19 pandemic, Steeve Day has been suffering from ALS for 8 years and decides to call for assistance in dying. At the same time, visits to hospitals are suspended. Steeve then decides to rent a hotel room to spend his last days and receive his loved ones. This is the starting point of the film....
