TURN OFF THE LIGHT!

For the first time, Carlo (18) from Upper Swabia takes a girl (Melissa, 17) home overnight. He still lives in the children’s room of his parents‘ house, which is located in a small Swabian village. He tries as best he can to hide her presence from his parents, but at the same time he doesn’t want to give up on his plan: to have sex for the first time.
The situation is getting more intensive, as the parents think they hear more and more "strange" noises from Carlo’s children’s room and Carlo eventually gets the feeling that his parents have gotten wind of his nocturnal visit. So, will Carlo’s plan work out, or will his parents catch him, or worse, will Melissa end the whole thing before it’s even started just because she’s had enough of hide-and-seek?

Marius Beck (*1994) wuchs im oberschwäbischen Zußdorf auf und hat in München Germanistik, Geschichte und Philosophie studiert. Seit 2019 studiert er an der HFF München Drehbuch und gründete 2021 gemeinsam mit Paul Beck die Apollonia Film.

Marc Philip Ginolas wurde 1997 in einer kleinen Stadt im Harz geboren. Nach seinem Abitur machte er eine Ausbildung beim ZDF in Mainz. Seit 2019 studiert er Regie an der HFF in München. Sein Erstjahresfilm „Kaltmiete“ wurde mit mehreren Preisen im deutschsprachigen Raum ausgezeichnet.
