URBAN JUNGLE – DIE ZIMMERPFLANZE NIMMT PLATZ!

People love nature. They bring it to them, care for and cherishe it, whether in the garden at home or in the green home, where the houseplants crowd. Spiny cacti stand next to man-sized yucca palms, both of which would not be able to overwinter here without heating. Exotic plants were once a status symbol and were expensively shipped to Europe from colonial countries. Botany was a fashionable subject among young scholars, today the trend for houseplants among city dwellers is called "Urban Jungle".
The animated film tells the story of the houseplant and explores the question of why people like having greenery in their homes so much.
