REBEL

Since 2017, Quebec is home to unprecedented influx of illegal migrants entering the country by hiking through the wilderness that borders the United States. Radical groups are gaining supporters as citizens grow dissatisfied with their government’s mishandling of the crisis.

2022. The world is changing fast but Alex, a naive 6 years old boy, is oblivious to it. Raised by an immature but loving father, he leads a normal life in a small town near the border. To him, the mysterious walks his father leads with his friends are just more occasions to go play hide and seek out in the woods. That morning, though, it all came into focus.
