A woman is hired as a debt collection agent in a call center. Under pressure from her team leader, she tries to adapt to her working conditions. After hearing a tragic story, she becomes interested in the lives of people she has been speaking to on the phone.

Lukas Agelastos is a Greek-German filmmaker. He studied Social Studies and Business
Administration at Scottish Universities and Film Directing through the Raindance Masters programme
at Staffordshire University. The feature documentary about the founder of the soup kitchen "My
Human Self" (2017), which he and his wife Spiridoula Gouskou directed, shot, and produced, was
awarded Best Documentary at the Festival “Bridges” in Corinth and won the Jury Prize at the Antakya
Festival in Turkey. Lukas’s latest short film “The Line” (2019), travelled such festivals as Drama,
Thessaloniki, Raindance, Foyle (Derry), London Greek Film Festival, 20MinMax in Ingolstadt
(Germany), and more. It is a proof-of-concept for “The Astronaut’s Room”, a social realism project
supported by the Greek Film Center. Currently, Lukas is working on a documentary about conspiracy
theories, while 2022 will see the pair produce Spiridoula’s next short, “Patinage”, a film financed by
Greek National TV (ERT).

Nicky is an excentric and outcast woman. She decides to put an end to her life after loosing her last allowances, and decides to entrust her dog Izy to her neighboor. But as the neighboor changes her mind and turns the dog back, a run around the clock begins for Nicky who is about to overdose… Her last hope resides in Jacques, a social services employee doing his firstcontrol at Nicky’s appartment...
